I can’t remember exactly how it started. I have always loved music, especially from the 60s. Then I found The Ramones. Probably heard them on KROQ. From there I started hearing more of the local bands. The Dickies were fun! I met a girl named Elaine through a friend, and she took me to the Cavern Club. I was hooked. It was everything. I had found my niche: loud, raunchy, 60s garage punk. I was there every weekend, and a couple nights during the week. Nothing like dancing and screaming all night. I loved hanging out in Hollywood back then. Met some great people.
